The COMBICLICK CC-FS flap discs in the Corundum A grade from PFERD Tools are designed for grinding work ranging from coarse to fine in industry and the trades. In combination with the COMBICLICK system, they enable quick fitting and a consistent grinding result on a wide range of metallic and engineering materials. The corundum A abrasive is characterised by its high versatility and is ideally suited to general grinding applications on a variety of materials.

The COMBICLICK CC-FS fibre discs in the corundum A version are based on a high-quality corundum abrasive for universal grinding work. This composition allows for the machining of a wide variety of metal surfaces as well as selected engineering materials. The abrasive ensures consistent material removal whilst delivering a uniform surface finish.
Integration into the COMBICLICK system guarantees quick and easy disc changes. The tool-free quick-clamping mechanism reduces downtime during tool changes and helps to lower operating costs. At the same time, heat build-up on both the tool and the workpiece is minimised during the grinding process.
The system is based on a specially developed backing pad, which enables use on standard angle grinders. The secure connection between the fibre disc and the backing pad ensures a firm hold during grinding. Furthermore, the system promotes effective air circulation, thereby reducing the thermal load on both the abrasive and the workpiece. The absence of protruding clamping components also enables flat grinding and minimises the risk of scratches on the machined surface.

COMBICLICK CC-FS fibre discs in the corundum A grade are suitable for grinding work ranging from coarse to fine in industry and the trades, for example in metalworking, boiler making, industrial maintenance, technical timber construction and for finishing work in workshops. Typical applications include deburring, surface preparation, levelling weld seams and removing mill scale from metal parts.
The grinding discs are suitable for structural steels, carbon steels, tool steels and cast steels. Furthermore, they can be used on non-ferrous metals such as brass, copper and zinc, as well as on certain hard aluminium alloys. They can also be used to machine various types of castings and other materials such as fibre-reinforced plastics, thermoplastics, wood, chipboard and painted surfaces.
