Get hearing protection with effective wireless communication for noisy environments, with 3M™ PELTOR™ WS™ ProTac™ XPI headsets. These headsets are equipped with level-dependent microphones for ambient sounds and facilitate communication in noisy environments, while also protecting users against temporary or intermittent noise. When the level-dependent function is turned down or even turned off, users can use the PTL (push-to-listen) function. This activates ambient listening for operations where enhanced situational awareness is required. A simple push of any button will reset the ambient listening to the preferred setting. The headsets have Bluetooth® Multipoint connectivity for simultaneous seamless connection to up to two external Bluetooth-enabled devices. They feature an IP68 classified noise-cancelling boom microphone for optimised performance in high noise areas, enabling clear communication between users. All the headsets come in a high visibility yellow colour. They require AA batteries or a rechargeable NiMH pack, providing 45 hours of battery life. They’re available on a headband, neckband or helmet attachment. Select headsets are available with the FLX2 accessory system for an extra, simple and reliable cable connection to an assortment to the most common 2-way radios. This is in addition to an easy-to-use, robust PTT on the headset for easy radio transmission.
